ABOUT
BULLSEYE
Training Range
Bullseye VTR is a new and innovative way to train with handguns. We provide a way for the "beginner" to learn and the "experienced" to grow. Building skills in tactical, defensive pistol, handgun basics, and firearm, sports training. Our training is extremely effective because everything we do is rooted in the neuroscience of physical learning. Applying this training to the mechanics of shooting is how you learn to "master" the fundamentals. Bullseye is not a shooting range anymore than a gym is a football field.
We help you develop perfection and refinement, in all of the physical biomechanics required through the point of pressing a trigger. Recoil inhibits your ability to see and feel many of the physical changes you are making prior to the shot. However, this training cannot be done in the absence of recoil in order for you to determine if your practice sessions are helping you progress.
Members here will sometimes spend an entire session, just working on getting their hand to the gun in the holster and retrieving it before ever attempting to fully present it, much less do it live.
It can take multiple sessions before a student has permanently, myelinated the muscle memory for a perfect grip every time. (Min of 3800 reps) The nuances of each individual finger, with its muscles and positioning must be coordinated with your wrist, forearms and shoulders. This does not come overnight. Pressing the trigger on your gun and watching the sight picture or dot as it recoils is the last step when shooting. Your eyes should be the only input telling your finger when to press. Similar to pressing the button on a camera in the old days, everyone being still and smiling, was an indication to press the button. At no point does your brain announce “now!” That will cause you to mash the trigger. Many aspects of shooting will need to be strongly positioned in the subconscious so it happens smoothly. That requires hours and hours of reps done in dry-fire.
Any serious athlete, even teenagers have separate coaches for different aspects of their sport. There are speed, agility, even balance coaches, that they will spend weeks working with outside of doing their initial sport. Shooting is no different, you will need to focus your training on pieces of your movement to become proficient in them.
We implement modern technology that gives detailed feedback to improve or fix issues that effect your shooting ability. Whether you are proficient in shooting a gun, shoot competitions, or want to begin your journey into handgun shooting, Bullseye is where you start!

Being a guy I was a bit intimidated since most guys I know can shoot, but now I can shoot better than most of them! Best investment I have made in a while.
